Erika May is a new special education teacher here at Ramsey Junior High. May grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. She attended University of the Ozarks. She lives in Fort Smith, Arkansas and has one daughter.

May’s greatest strength is having a great connection with the students and she is a problem solver. May’s greatest weakness is staying firm, and wanting to help people more than she wants to help herself.

Her friends describe her as funny. She describes herself as helpful. She was inspired to go into special education to be able to help students that need special attention. So far May likes Ramsey because the students and staff are helpful.
