Beauty In The Ozarks

Reese Dick

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is a non-profit organization that is located in northern Fayetteville, Arkansas. I recently went here with my family to capture the beauty of the gardens in autumn. Although the majority of the flowers were dead, I still managed to find the beauty in it. The gardens have statues, a Butterfly House, and a variety of gardens with different origins such as a Japanese garden with koi ponds. The Gardens host several annual events that are fun for families. In the summer they have the Firefly Fling, which includes a fairy house and an obstacle course, the Greening of the Garden gala and fundraiser, and the Jingle Bell 5k and Reindeer Fun Run. This year’s Fun Run will be held on December 2, and registration is still open.

The Botanical Garden charges seven dollars per person for admission, which is not a terrible price to pay to enjoy such beautiful surroundings and have an opportunity to participate in family friendly activities.
