State of the Union

On January 30, 2018, President Donald J. Trump gave his first State of the Union. His talking points included calling for increased crackdown on illegal immigration, the fact that unemployment for several minority groups is at an all-time low, the addition of the 600,00 new jobs in the U.S., and  the $3.1 trillion gained to the U.S. economy. He also called for “the bipartisanship to stop”. The response, (as far as polls can tell) was mostly positive, with 75% approving, several standing ovations, and even a “U.S.A.” chant. Some of the special guests included an owner of a small business, his wife, and his best worker, a fireman, the parents of two girls killed by an illegal alien who was a member of MS13, a U.S. CPL, and a member of the Cajun Navy.
