There has been a lot of talk about which is better, The Kissing Booth or To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. In my opinion, The Kissing Booth is a whole lot better than To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, but that does not mean they are not both great movies. The reason I think The Kissing Booth is better is because it is not that predictable of a storyline and it leaves you in suspense making you think there could be a sequel to the movie.  Also, it is more relatable to real life with the storyline being about a girl having a crush on her best friend’s brother; while as To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is about a girl that has written five letters and addressed them, then one day they all got sent out to her crushes. Now that could happen, but not really.  You see a girl pretty much every day who has or had a crush on her best friend’s brother.

Another thing, I think that To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is just way too predictable. I knew what was going to happen before it did. Okay, enough about my opinion let’s take a look at someone else’s.  Kylie Brooks said, “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is better.” Kylie thinks it’s better because you can always find a girl who’s in love with her best friend’s brother, but you rarely find someone who wrote letters about the people they like. Kylie said,

“Girls used to write letters all the time even though it’s not in our generation to write letters it makes the movie have an old feeling, but modern the whole time too.  In The Kissing Booth once you found out she was in love with her best friends brother it was pretty obvious what was going to happen, but when someone write letters to 5 different guys you really can’t tell what’s going to happen.”

I prefer the Kissing Booth but both movies are amazing. If you are wanting to watch these movies they are both Netflix original movies and can only be watched on Netflix.
