P!nk Fan’s Dream Comes True

Out of all the reasons to love P!nk, here’s another one.

Pink held a concert in Brisbane,  Australia on Monday. During the concert, a teenage fan brought a sign that said she had lost her mother last month; several people were helping the girl get attention by pointing at the sign.

According to the girl, Leah Murphy, she and her mother had planned to go to the concert together, but before they got the chance, her mother sadly passed away. In spite of the sad recent events, Leah’s aunt, Katrina Donkin, took her niece to the concert and decorated posters for them to wave around hoping that the artist would see them. Lucky for them, their dream came true!

Katrina told ABC News that the audience made way for them to reach the front row so Pink could see the grieving teen and their sign. As the teen shook with tears, the “Beautiful Trauma” performer comforted the girl, telling her,

     ¨It’s going to be alright.¨

She also signed Leah’s hand. The teen said that it was an especially emotional moment for her.

Pink and Leah’s touching encounter came after Pink was hospitalized for a gastric virus and was forced to cancel two shows in Sydney, Aus.
