Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday; a  time when family and friends get together and spend their time gossiping then eating and then gossipping again about how much food aunt Dorthy put on her plate. Family traditions are upheld and all the kids get to see their cousins that live hours away. It is a time where the air outside is cold and you have pumpkins laying out in the yard where the yellow, red, and brown leaves have fallen. Many people make turkey and ham, others make just ham, but you have a select few that make turkey and brisket – and let me tell you those people are my type of people. There are some that just don’t celebrate Thanksgiving due to their religion or maybe they just don’t like the holiday it all just depends really. Not a lot of people remember the way that the holiday came about or even why the holiday Thanksgiving exists.
