Taliban Strikes

Ryan Hauer

Wednesday, November 28th, in Kabul Afghanistan, the Taliban struck an attack against Kabul’s officers killing five of its staffers. Though Afghan authorities said that a sixth person was killed during the attack. The director of the G4S Risk Management Group also said that 32 employees of that company were injured, five of them badly. It started by a suicide bomber driving his explosive-filled truck into the gates of the G4S compound. After the truck was driven into the gate, there was a battle for hours, four of the attackers suffering from death. The Taliban claimed that the reason for their assault was “revenge” for an attack the U.S. is responsible for, killing 30 of their people, most of them being citizens.
