People that are household names die each year, and each year we mourn the losses of the ones we held dear to our hearts. 2018 was no different as many famous celebrities we knew and love sadly passed away this year. Thankfully we’ll always remember their contributions of what they gave us.

  • Theoretical Physicist, Stephen Hawking, died March 14 from his long-standing battle with the terminal illness ALS. Hawking was 76 years old when he passed away.
  • Barbara Bush died April 17 after the press got word she would be receiving medical care in the comfort of her own home on April 13, Bush was 92 years old when she died.
  • Tim Bergling, more commonly known as his stage name Avicii, was found dead in Muscat, Oman after a reported self-inflicted injury Avicii was 28 at the time of his death.
  • XXXTentacion was a famous rap artist who was shot and killed in Deerfield Beach, Fl while he was out shopping. XXXTentacion was 20 years old when he was murdered.
  • U.S Senator, John McCain, died August 25 from a deadly brain tumor known as glioblastoma, McCain was 81 when he passed away.
  • Mac Miller died September 7 from a drug overdose at the age of 26.
  • Comic book legend Stan Lee died November 12 in the hospital after being rushed their earlier that day.
  • The creator of Spongebob, Stephen Hillenburg, died November 26 from ALS.
  • The 41st president of the United States George H.W Bush died November 30 at the age of 94.
