Last Monday, Jan. 7, , Clemson and Alabama faced off in the National Championship. The Clemson Tigers dominated the game beating Alabama 44 – 16. This is Clemson 2nd championship in three years. Some of Clemson’s top players, including their quarterback, are freshman and sophomores. Alabama made many mistakes during the game that may have cost them the game including two interceptions and the fake goal kick. This is the fourth straight time that these two teams have met in the College Playoff Playoffs. Alabama would have gotten their 16th championship if they would have one the game and have the 2nd most National Championships after Yale. Clemson now has three.
