Fear in Prescott Schools

On April 1, an eighth-grader at Prescott High School, in Prescott Arkansas, brought a gun to school. That morning, they shot another eighth grader. The 14-year old that was shot was airlifted to a hospital in Little Rock. They are in stable condition.

After the shooting took place, the whole school was immediately put on lockdown. The shooter was then apprehended about an hour later, off campus. The school said that this incident was isolated and the student shot was the only one targeted. The school hasn’t released any names as to who the shooter might have been, or who else was involved. They are also calling it a “premeditated attack.”
