NASA is launching a new rover that will be going to Mars. One big new thing about it is that it has a drill for carrying samples of rock and soil from Mars. The Mars 2020 Mission is going to be the first mission to do this on Mars, it could possibly pave the way for future missions that could collect the samples and return them to Earth for laboratory analysis. It will be launching July 17- August 5, 2020. And will land on Mars on February 18, 2021. They also said it’s going to take about one year on Mars (about 687 earth days). It’s about 10 feet wide, 9 feet long, and 7 feet tall. In conclusion, I think we are going to discover a lot of new things in 2020.
