Japan Moon Base

Japan just announced that they are going to build a moon base this year. Japan’s Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has been working on this for three years. Researchers are using seven-ton robotic vehicles to build the base. These robotic vehicles are going to be controlled by JAXA. The droids are 660 pounds and will roll on treads and operate within a 60-mile radius of the base. They’ll have with solar panels, seismographs to inspect the moon’s inner structure, high-def cameras, and arms to get rock samples, which will be returned to Earth. The base is going to be powered by solar panels. Sources say that this whole operation is going to cost around 2 billion dollars! In conclusion I think it’s really interesting and exciting.
